Member of Relais & Châteaux, the 5-star Superior Beau-Rivage Hotel in Neuchâtel is located in a paradisiacal place along the lake promenade, called Esplanade du Mont-Blanc. It offers 66 rooms and suites to business clients as well as international private guests. It includes 7 banquet rooms, the O’terroirs Restaurant, a Veranda Bar, two large Terraces, and a wellness area called B-Spa. 

Job Description

• Ensure quality standards are maintained at a high level
• Wisely advise the client in the choice of menus and drinks
• Be demanding and constantly monitor the entire restaurant, the Veranda, and our terraces
• Plan and organize the tasks of your collaborators in the absence of the manager
• Work closely with all departments
• Be a flexible and available assistant
• Develop and create cordial relationships with clients to build loyalty in accordance with our high standards

Qualifications

Profile sought:

• Training in catering (CFC, BEP, CAP, BTS, BAC Pro)
• Successful experience in high-end hotel or restaurant industry
• Good technical knowledge of products, wines, and spirits
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
• Sense of hospitality and service for a 5* establishment clientele
• Team spirit, flexible and conscientious
• Very good command of French, good knowledge of English and German is an asset.
