A male Major Domus is sought as a reliable contact person for a mentally exceptionally alert, highly educated and interested 97-year-old man.
Due to his age, vision and hearing are limited. All the more important for this role are attentive presence, clear and patient communication, as well as the ability to perceive situations early and act proactively.
Therefore, a strong character is sought who brings very good general knowledge and enjoys personal contact with an extraordinary person.
Job profile:
- Coordination of appointments and administrative tasks
- Handling various personal and organisational matters
- Accompanying to shopping and errands
- Support in various everyday topics
- Organisation of small events
- Accompanying to dinners (twice weekly) outside the home
- Support with technical or organisational questions in the private environment if needed
- Coordination of external service providers and craftsmen as agreed
You bring:
- Experience in a demanding private household or a comparable position of trust
- Excellent organisational skills
- An independent, structured and forward-looking way of working
- Very good manners and communicative confidence
- Patience, attentiveness and a good sense for people
- Technical understanding and enthusiasm for challenging topics
- Discretion, loyalty and trustworthiness
- The ability to act independently while respecting the personal boundaries of the client
- Good knowledge of German; additional languages are an advantage
- Driving licence and preferably own car
