Volunteers: Support at Run for the Planet 2026

About the job

MyBluePlanet is an independent Swiss climate protection movement and non-profit organisation, founded in 2007 in Winterthur. We inspire people to contribute to climate protection. Together, we seek creative and practical solutions and implement them with concrete projects to reduce CO2.

On Saturday, 5 September 2026, we will be present at the "Run for the Planet" in Regensberg ZH with a stand. The run combines exercise with commitment to the environment. All profits are donated to environmental organisations, including MyBluePlanet.

We are looking for two volunteers: Support at Run for the Planet 2026

1. Volunteer for stand supervision
You will support us at the MyBluePlanet stand and look after our children's area. Children can craft, paint, and engage playfully with environmental and climate topics on site.

Tasks:
• Supervision of the stand during the event
• Assisting children with crafting and painting
• Approaching visitors and providing simple information

2. Volunteer as "Planeti" (mascot)
You will take on the role of our mascot and create a good atmosphere along the route and in the event area.

Tasks:
• Presence as mascot on the event site
• Motivating children and participants along the route
• Contributing to a positive and lively atmosphere

For both roles:
You bring:
• Enjoyment in dealing with people, especially children
• Open, communicative manner
• Reliability and team spirit
