Job description

At the heart of the establishment's life, you support residents in daily living activities while ensuring their dignity, autonomy and quality of life are preserved.

Beyond basic care, you develop a trusting relationship based on listening, empathy and respect. Through your attentive presence and reassuring attitude, you help create an environment where residents feel valued, safe and cared for.

You also play an essential role with relatives by promoting open, respectful and caring communication, enabling a partnership and trust-based relationship to be established.

In close collaboration with the care teams and all professionals within the institution, you participate in comprehensive, coherent and personalised care. You actively contribute to handovers and monitoring of situations, while bringing your perspective and sensitivity to the development and evolution of care plans.

Finally, you engage in a collective dynamic based on respect, solidarity and continuous improvement of care quality.

Profile sought

• Swiss Red Cross Health Auxiliary Certificate;

• Successful experience in nursing homes, geriatrics and/or psycho-geriatrics;

• Comfortable with IT tools; knowledge of DIR (Sadies) is an asset;

• Proficiency in French, minimum oral level B2;

• Interpersonal skills fostering trust-building, communication skills, tact and professionalism with residents, relatives and colleagues;

• Team spirit and willingness to contribute to a positive, collaborative and respectful working atmosphere;

• Self-control, emotional stability and ability to take a step back in complex situations;

• Flexibility, reliability and sense of responsibility in performing the role.
