Radio and Intercom Technician (m/f/d)
Qualitest is looking for a Radio and Intercom Technician (m/f/d) for a project in the field of Field Engineering & Technical Support. The job includes technical support in various environments: laboratories, tactical platforms, and factories.
Here’s how you contribute:
Installation of computer hardware and software
Setting up, testing, and maintaining radio devices, device carriers, intercom systems, and other devices used in radio stations
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical lines and cables used in the repair and installation of electronic devices
Testing radio devices, intercom systems, and communication systems in tactical military platforms
Performing troubleshooting and problem resolution on-site
Resolving issues with devices and connections on tactical platforms and in laboratory environments
Operating measuring devices for radio, intercom, and communication systems on tactical platforms and in laboratory environments
Supporting users and being the first point of contact for error reports
Conducting tests and evaluations of new software and hardware
What sets you apart:
You have completed your studies in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
2-3 years of experience as a technician (technician, not engineer)
Experience with measuring devices, e.g., VSWR meter, RF analyzer, and voltmeter
Experience in the field of radio and telecommunications
Ideally, experience with the operation and troubleshooting of tactical radio and intercom systems
Understanding of device hardware
Excellent organizational skills and time management
Hands-on mentality with a willingness to learn and apply it in practice
Language: ideally Swiss German or German and English
A driver's license and a car are required
Work location: Bern (office), but predominantly in Thun and Kreuzlingen
