For the leading daily newspaper in the region, the Bieler Tagblatt, as well as the online platform ajour, we are looking for a person for an internship (100%) for the two-year diploma program at the Media Training Center (MAZ) Lucerne from March 1, 2026, to February 29, 2028.
Your area of activity
- You will spend part of the training in the regional department of the Bieler Tagblatt. Here, you will dive deep into the Biel-Seeland region and independently write reports
- You will also spend part of your time in our online editorial team at ajour. Here, you will manage our news app, design and write online articles as well as social media posts. You will independently take on online shifts (in a three-shift operation)
- At the same time, you will complete the diploma program at MAZ Lucerne
Your ideal profile
- Ideally, you have already had a taste of journalism during an internship
- You are at least 20 years old, have completed vocational training or have a high school diploma
- You write confidently in German
- You are enthusiastic about both the digital world and print journalism
- It is a plus if you are familiar with the Biel/Seeland region and have a driver's license
- You are independent, take responsibility, and show
- With us, you will dive deep into daily journalism and learn all facets of print and online journalism
- You will have the chance to work in our convergent and bilingual editorial team and gain insight into all media (print, online, radio, TV)
