The regional police are responsible for the basic police services of the canton of Thurgau.

Your tasks
As a generalist, you are responsible for the basic police services in the area of responsibility of a main police station. Your work is mostly done during office hours, where you receive reports at the counter or process assigned tasks. In this role, you cooperate closely with other authorities, such as the public prosecutor's office, the child and adult protection authority (KESB), or the road traffic office. You maintain contact with the local population and mediate in conflicts.
Your profile
- Basic police training
- Several years of police professional experience desired
- Networked, cross-departmental and cross-topic thinking and acting
- Independent working style and high personal responsibility
- Active implementation of changes
- Willingness to work on-call duty and occasional patrol services
- Willingness to complete required training and further education
