What to expect
- Responsibility for sales, contribution margin, and assortment targets within the category
- Active development of an attractive, competitive product portfolio
- Conducting manufacturer and supplier negotiations
- Evaluation of new suppliers, manufacturers, and relevant market trends
- Ensuring correct master data including article openings
- Processing and controlling manufacturer invoices (bonuses, HSG, bits & claims)
- Planning and implementation of marketing and communication priorities with marketing & sales
- Implementation of the pricing strategy across all sales channels
- Close cooperation with purchasing (procurement, order automation, target reach)
- Ensuring legal and regulatory requirements in the assortment
What you bring
- A degree (FH/University/Business Administration) or completed vocational training
- Or training as an electrical installer EFZ plus further training as a technical merchant
- Ideally 2–3 years of professional experience in back office, product management, or a similar environment
- Affinity for building technology and lighting
- Good MS Office skills
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written; good English skills
- Analytical, entrepreneurial personality
- Independent, efficient, and structured working style
- High communication skills and negotiation ability
- Team player with a solution-oriented mindset
