SAHB is a nationwide Swiss specialist center for the independent advice of people with disabilities and their caregivers. We offer competent support in the procurement of assistive devices and facilities and accompany people on their way to as self-determined a life as possible. In addition, we prepare technical assessments for social insurances and manage the assistive devices of the disability insurance depot.For our team in Oensingen, we are looking by arrangement for a
Rehabilitation Technician or Construction Specialist or Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist or Registered Nurse HF as Consultant for Assistive Devices 80%-100%
Your area of responsibility
• Advising people with limited mobility on the choice of assistive devices (structural modifications, stairlifts, car conversions, wheelchair supplies, etc.) to maintain their mobility and independence.
• Writing reports for the cost bearers (social and private insurances).
• Issuing assistive devices from the IV depot and adapting them to the needs of the client
Your profile
• e.g. a technical, manual vocational training (sanitary planner, etc.) with the willingness to enter a new field of activity
• ideally further training as a specialist for rehabilitation technology with a federal diploma
• or vocational training in healthcare as an occupational / physiotherapist or registered nurse HF with a technical flair
• possibly experience with assistive devices for people with disabilities
• possibly prior knowledge in structural modifications for barrier-free living
• very good and confident oral and written expression in German
• high social competence, assertiveness, and resilience
• enjoyment of independent work and organizational talent
• good IT user skills (Microsoft Office and BC)
• a category B driving license
