Project Manager / Home Reversions
Office for Energy and Transport | 80-100% | Chur
The Office for Energy and Transport is the cantonal competence center for questions in the areas of energy and public transport. The use of hydropower and other renewable energy sources as well as a sustainable and efficient use of energy are core topics of the Office for Energy and Transport. We take the lead in processing the approval of concessions and projects for the use of hydropower.
We are looking for a Project Manager / Home Reversions for the Office for Energy and Transport starting July 1, 2026, or by agreement.
- Participation in the implementation of the cantonal hydropower strategy
- Project management of various home reversions, both as project manager and as a representative of the canton in the home reversion commissions
- Subject leadership in questions of utilization and operation of the cantonal power plant portfolio, as well as in building the corresponding structures
- Preparation of decision-making bases in connection with home reversions or concession renewals
- Economic evaluations of power plant companies
- Consulting municipalities on home reversion issues, communication with municipalities
- Coordination with external service providers and industry partners on home reversion matters
- Data management of individual power plants (procurement, evaluation, and management) with regard to home reversions
- University or university of applied sciences degree in construction or energy economics, preferably with additional legal knowledge
- Several years of professional experience in the energy sector
- Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration, negotiation skills, and tact in dealing with authorities, industry partners, and associations
- Experience in independently handling conceptual questions
- Confident command of the German language in spoken and written form
- Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage
