Our industrial site is expanding rapidly (new buildings, line optimisation). To support this growth, our HSE team is growing and is looking for a Project HSE Engineer to intervene upstream of the installation of our new equipment.
Your main tasks: Integrate safety from the design stage
You will be responsible for the overall risk assessment on investment projects.
Safety by Design: Define HSE requirements and specifications (safety and environment) during the study and design phases of new equipment.
Risk assessment: Analyse the impacts of new installations (ergonomics, noise, weight/lifting, machine safety, chemical/ATEX risks) before their deployment.
HSE project management: Have a global vision of the project, participate in defining specifications and call on specific technical experts (SME) when necessary.
Compliance: Ensure that each new project complies with Swiss legal standards and the company’s strict internal standards before execution begins.
Your profile
Education: Engineering degree or Master specialised in HSE. (A Licence/Bachelor is accepted if compensated by very good experience).

Experience: You have proven experience in integrating safety into technical projects, ideally gained in industries with strict and hazardous processes (Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Petrochemicals or Food).
Technical skills: Excellent understanding of machine directives, ergonomics, LOTO (lockout/tagout) and risk analyses (HAZOP, etc.).
Interpersonal skills: You have strong analytical skills, a global vision ("big picture") and know how to collaborate effectively with engineering and production teams to instil a safety culture from the drawing board.
Languages: Perfect command of French.
