The Palliative Care area is part of the Special Pastoral Care department of the Evangelical Reformed Church of the Canton of Zurich.
You are responsible for the pastoral care of patients in palliative situations and their relatives. The care takes place in the home environment. You work in the cantonal ecumenical team of palliative care and cooperate closely with a Catholic colleague as well as with the specialized home care service in the Zurich Oberland.
As an ordained pastor, you have additional training in pastoral care (CAS AWS Unibe or equivalent) and the A2 course in Palliative Care and Spiritual Care or are willing to complete these. Professional experience in a church community or special pastoral care is desired. You enjoy working flexibly and live in the Zurich Oberland yourself. Having your own car to travel to patients is an advantage. Annually, you take care of the palliative care telephone service for 4 to 6 weeks to receive concerns and new registrations. You are a communicative and caring personality who cares deeply about people in palliative situations. You like to invest in good ecumenical and interdisciplinary teamwork and solid networking in your work environment. You are also open to interreligious cooperation.
