IMMER AG supports its customers with the service of material testing for the professional inspection of work equipment and PPE that require testing. In doing so, we make an important contribution to occupational safety, operational safety and the legally compliant use of work equipment.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a careful, technically skilled and customer-oriented person as Expert Material Testing / Work Equipment Inspection 80–100 %.

Your main responsibilities include
- Conducting work equipment inspections internally as well as directly on site at our customers
- Testing of PPE, lifting equipment, ladders, fall protection devices, lashing straps and other customer-specific work equipment
- Assessment of whether work equipment can continue to be used, repaired, locked out or replaced
- Complete and comprehensible documentation of test results in the testing software
- Updating test labels, test histories, customer data and order information
- Clear feedback to customers on defects, necessary measures, repairs or replacement needs
- Participation in the further development of our testing processes and quality assurance
- The tests are carried out in accordance with legal requirements, manufacturer specifications, recognised rules of technology as well as defined test intervals and are fully documented.
Your profile
- Completed technical or craft training, ideally in timber construction, carpentry, mechanics, electrical engineering or a comparable field
- Experience with work equipment, PPE, occupational safety, service work or technical inspections is an advantage
- Further training as a competent person for PPE, lifting equipment and/or ladders is an advantage – or willingness to complete these trainings
- Good technical understanding as well as a careful, structured and reliable way of working
- Enjoyment of customer contact and professional appearance
- Confident handling of digital work equipment, MS Office, ERP systems and testing software
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form; French skills are an advantage
- Driving licence category B and willingness to work at customers in Switzerland
