Your main responsibilities include
- Conducting work equipment inspections internally as well as directly on site at our customers
- Testing of PPE, lifting equipment, ladders, fall protection devices, lashing straps and other customer-specific work equipment
- Assessment of whether work equipment can continue to be used, repaired, locked out or replaced
- Complete and comprehensible documentation of test results in the testing software
- Updating test labels, test histories, customer data and order information
- Clear feedback to customers on defects, necessary measures, repairs or replacement needs
- Participation in the further development of our testing processes and quality assurance
- The tests are carried out in accordance with legal requirements, manufacturer specifications, recognised rules of technology as well as defined test intervals and are fully documented.
Your profile
- Completed technical or craft training, ideally in timber construction, carpentry, mechanics, electrical engineering or a comparable field
- Experience with work equipment, PPE, occupational safety, service work or technical inspections is an advantage
- Further training as a competent person for PPE, lifting equipment and/or ladders is an advantage – or willingness to complete these trainings
- Good technical understanding as well as a careful, structured and reliable way of working
- Enjoyment of customer contact and professional appearance
- Confident handling of digital work equipment, MS Office, ERP systems and testing software
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form; French skills are an advantage
- Driving licence category B and willingness to work at customers in Switzerland
