In our engineering department, we work with graduates from HF, FHNW, and ETH, and we also train new apprentices annually in the field of construction (Constructor EFZ, Polymechanic EFZ, Automation Technician EFZ). We have already conducted many student projects in collaboration with FHNW and are pleased that some of these students have started their permanent positions with us.
We see our strength in being able to offer PiBS students a practice-relevant introduction to the engineering profession. You will experience an individual and practice-oriented training program. This way, you complement your studies with know-how from the industry, and at the start of your professional life, you can already present work experience. Depending on your personal interests and study focuses, your training program consists of the following areas:
- Workshop internship
- Smaller independently manageable engineering projects in the field of research and development (R&D)
- Participation in larger R&D projects or customer projects, also in collaboration with other departments from our engineering team
