Our Control Room team is the hub for managing compliance risks in the areas of independent financial analysis, trading, and capital markets. We are responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations concerning independent financial analyses, market conduct rules, and the handling of insider information as well as reporting and disclosure obligations. In doing so, you make an important contribution to fair and transparent trading. Do you want to be close to the pulse of the capital market and stock exchange trading and understand complex economic contexts and the interests of market participants? - You analyse, assess, and process communication data (e.g. emails, chats, voice recordings) with regard to possible rule or legal violations
- You document your investigations carefully and in a manner that is audit-proof
- You contribute to the further development, optimisation, and parameterisation of existing and new monitoring systems
- You work closely with IT, legal services, compliance colleagues, and specialist departments to ensure regulatory and technical requirements are met
- You monitor regulatory developments and market trends in the area of communication monitoring and derive optimisations for processes, controls, and systems
- You support the team with other Control Room tasks such as monitoring trading activities, investigations into possible improper market behaviour, and projects
- You act as a point of contact for general enquiries on Control Room topics
- Completed degree, advanced technical college, or comparable education with relevant professional experience
- Professional experience in the compliance environment of a bank or financial institution, ideally in communication monitoring, financial crime, or market conduct monitoring
- Understanding of modern communication platforms and ideally experience with systems for monitoring electronic communication or trading activities
- Good understanding of relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. FINMA circulars, market conduct and conduct rules, data protection and banking secrecy)
- Strong affinity for IT systems and data as well as pronounced compliance and control understanding
- Great interest in securities trading and research topics
- You convince with analytical and solution-oriented skills as well as clear and target-group appropriate communication
- Ability to critically question complex communication patterns and independently assess regulatory risks completes your profile
- Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
