Die Tanne is THE competence center for people with congenital hearing and vision impairment, deafblindness, and related multiple sensory disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

To complement our school team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a responsible and motivated person as

Educational Staff / School Assistant, 84%

Your tasks

• Supporting special education teachers in the promotion and care of four multiply (sensory) disabled children with an additional focus on ASD (autism spectrum disorder)
• Accompanying external activities (riding lessons, forest lessons, etc.)
• Co-responsibility for individual training
• Support in caring for the children
• Support during lunch in the after-school care
• Care support during six holiday weeks in the after-school care as well as additionally in the winter week
• Presence required from Monday to Friday (according to hours/duty schedule)

Your profile

• Completed basic training as a care professional (or equivalent)
• First professional experience in a comparable role
• Enjoy working with children who have special needs
• Interest in the "special" school routine
• Physical fitness
• Proactive working style, very good self-management, work-life balance under control
• Sense of responsibility, mindfulness, and curiosity
