On-call Replacement Night Watcher - Fixed-term Contract until 31.12.2026

Activities / You will be called upon to work as a replacement night watcher (pool member) for the emergency accommodation "Sleep-in City of Neuchâtel". Working in pairs, you are responsible for the night reception of homeless individuals. You warmly welcome beneficiaries within the Sleep-in. You ensure harmonious cohabitation among those accommodated and direct them to day support structures if necessary. You also manage the logistical tasks inherent to the operation of the facility. Additionally, you will carry out certain administrative tasks to enable project evaluation and follow-up in collaboration with the team. This work is on-call and paid hourly on a monthly basis.
Desired Profile / You have a strong interest in social issues and severe hardship and possess at least 3 years of professional experience in the social or health sector. You are particularly comfortable in human contact and know how to adopt a non-judgemental and respectful attitude towards vulnerable individuals. In stressful situations, you can respond with composure and creativity. You are comfortable with teamwork and familiar with basic IT tools. You have sufficient resilience to work night shifts and under pressure. You have very good knowledge of the French language. Any additional oral language skills are an asset.
