Your mission
Within our cantonal administration, we are looking for a Hospital Planning Manager. In this strategic role, you contribute to ensuring a quality, accessible, efficient hospital care offer adapted to the population's needs. You lead the cantonal hospital planning in collaboration with healthcare institutions, authorities, and health system partners. You have an excellent knowledge of current public health and hospital policy issues.
Your activities
- Develop, implement and update the cantonal hospital planning in accordance with federal and cantonal legal frameworks
- Analyse hospital care needs based on demographic, epidemiological, economic and activity data
- Analyse the compliance of inpatient services provided by hospital institutions with mandates
- Monitor the evolution of care offer, service quality and their adequacy to population needs
- Manage procedures related to the cantonal hospital list and the allocation of service mandates
- Advise cantonal authorities on strategic issues related to hospital care organisation
- Lead or participate in cross-sectoral projects in the health policy field
Desired profile
- Master’s degree in economics or any other equivalent qualifications
- Project management training would be an asset
- Professional experience in project management
- Knowledge of public administration functioning as well as the Swiss health system and its financing
- Analytical and synthesis skills, overview vision
- Ability to lead projects and manage relationships with partners
- Adaptability, flexibility
- Excellent writing skills
- Fluent in French or German with good knowledge of the partner language
