ZENBU is our sushi brand for retail and has been delighting since 2018 with daily fresh sushi, sashimi, soups, and hot dishes. In selected Coop branches, ZENBU brings a modern, diverse product range directly into everyday life for all sushi lovers.

Zenbu Cook
Responsibilities
- Production of sushi, sashimi, and soups in front of guests at our sushi islands in Coop supermarkets
- Guest-oriented working approach including providing information about the general offer, including allergy labelling and daily specials
- Team-oriented collaboration with the Zenbu team
- Co-responsibility for orders, goods receipt, opening, closing, and inventory management
- Ensuring consistently high quality of the dishes
- Compliance with hygiene and quality standards in the kitchen
Requirements
- Interest in food preparation - career changers welcome
- Flexible willingness to work and commitment to shift and weekend duties (Sundays generally off, except for Sunday sales)
- German language skills at B1 level in spoken and written form, additional languages are a plus
- Affinity for system gastronomy and enjoyment of structured processes
- Independent personality with passion for the cooking profession and enjoyment of guest contact
