Social Worker
Social Office Graubünden | 60–80 % | Landquart
The cantonal social office fulfils the task of personal social and addiction support on behalf of the municipalities and assists people in accessing economic social assistance. To this end, it operates eight regional social services in the canton’s regions.
The regional social service Prättigau/Herrschaft/Fünf Dörfer is responsible for 18 municipalities with a catchment area of 43,000 people.
Social counselling, addiction support and financial assistance (gr.ch)
We are looking for the Landquart location immediately or by arrangement for a social worker. The position is limited until 30 April 2027.
- Solution- and resource-oriented social counselling of individuals and families
- Access to social insurance benefits as well as economic social assistance
- Advice to recognised and provisionally admitted refugees and foreigners on linguistic, professional and social integration
- Cooperation with social authorities and specialised agencies
- Other varied, interesting and responsible tasks
- Completed training as a social worker BSc/FH or a degree in a comparable qualification
- Enjoy working with people from different social and/or cultural backgrounds
- High advisory competence as well as sound expertise in social assistance law and social insurance
- Outgoing, resilient, team player, good communication, organisational and administrative skills
- Ideally good foreign language skills
- Independent and solution-oriented working
