To support our team, we are looking for our operational headquarter in Greifensee, Zürich for a Market Technology Engineer 100% (all genders)In this role, your responsibilities would include:Electronics & electrical category strategy development & promotion in close collaboration with the commercial counterparts and key internal stakeholders (R&D, product manager, head of various departments, etc.). Implementation in close collaboration with the commercial counterparts and Sourcing EngineersFull understanding of mid- & long-term market developments to challenge existing MT stakeholders’ requirements. Guide MT towards a future proven, mid- & long-term strategy that offers best in class cost, quality, delivery resilience & sustainabilityDeliver technical expertise to whole MT for the assigned category & technology scopes, considering market intelligence, product and production process know-howBuild-up, monitor and improve a KPI to measure the long-term success of the strategiesLead multi-unit, cross-functional global projects, and support both regional and global implementationApply industry best practices to identify savings opportunities, and initiate transfers in close collaboration with the commercial counterparts and Sourcing EngineersDefine an assortment strategy to reduce complexity, achieve ESG and risk management targets in close collaboration with the commercial counterparts and Sourcing Engineers
