The Medical-Surgical Center for Obesity collaborates closely with all medical-surgical disciplines of the establishment, as well as with the outpatient care network and private practice physicians.
A reference center recognized by the SMOB for obesity surgery, HRC is accredited for highly specialized medicine (HSM) in this discipline.
To strengthen the medical team of the Medical-Surgical Center for Obesity, we are offering the position of :
Assistant Doctor in Endocrinology or Internal Medicine with Expertise in Obesity Medicine, 60%-100%
The main missions of this position are
- Provide specialized outpatient care for patients suffering from obesity.
- Ensure pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up of candidates for bariatric surgery in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in the training activities of the Medical-Surgical Center for Obesity and in the supervision of advanced practice nurses.
- Collaborate in the development of the obesity center.
We require
- A federal medical degree or a degree issued by a member state of the EU and recognized by the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO).
- A specialist title in endocrinology-diabetology, internal medicine, or an equivalent recognized training (MEBEKO).
- Proven expertise in the field of obesity management.
- A capacity for teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.
