The gynecology department cares for about 1200 inpatients annually and operates an in-house gynecological practice. About 400 children are born here each year. We are expanding our medical team, therefore we are looking for an appointment by agreement for a: Head Physician Gynecology and Obstetrics (60% - 100%, job sharing possible)

Your Challenge

As Head Physician, you are responsible together with the medical team for obstetrics (including ultrasound and basic prenatal diagnostics) as well as operative gynecology (general operative gynecology, laparoscopy, and preferably a specialty such as urogynecology and gynecological oncology) and operate the gynecological outpatient clinic in the hospital. Together with the chief physician, you steer and shape the strategic development of the department. You also promote collegial collaboration in interdisciplinary teams and take on essential tasks in the training of assistant doctors.

Your Profile

Specialist title in Gynecology / Obstetrics
Certification in pregnancy ultrasound is an advantage
Several years of medical practice, ideally in a central hospital
Committed and reliable personality with a lot of empathy
Operative activity, practice activity as well as obstetric care of patients in the hospital
Close cooperation with midwives and nursing staff
Willingness to perform regular on-call duties (night & weekend, max. 12-13 weekends per year)
