Presentation
The School of Medicine (EM), attached to the Faculty of Biology and Medicine (FBM) of the University of Lausanne (UNIL), provides scientific and clinical training to nearly 2,000 students. The teaching office (BE), one of the four units of the EM, serves as the main interface with students regarding the organisational and administrative arrangements of the medical curriculum, and manages the administration of teaching from the 1st year Bachelor to the 3rd year Master.
To complete the team following the departure of a colleague, the head of the teaching office is looking for a:
Optional Courses and OUT Mobility Manager at 80%
Position Information
Start date: 1 October 2026 or to be agreed
Contract duration: Permanent contract
Work rate: 80%
Workplace: UNIL-CHUV Hospital Campus (Rue César-Roux 19), 1005 Lausanne
Your Activities
This position is aimed at a person who enjoys teamwork and wishes to work in a dynamic environment, to ensure in particular the management of:
• OUT Mobility:
Management and organisation of students’ international OUT mobility, including coordination with partner universities and the International Relations Service, monitoring of files and ECTS credits, updating framework documents and the website, as well as contributing to the improvement of dedicated processes and tools.
• Optional Courses:
Administrative management of optional courses and research design workshops: allocation of students, coordination with academic leaders, teachers and partners, publication of programmes, room booking, validation of attendance and ECTS credits, as well as updating dedicated documents and web pages.
The post holder contributes to the smooth running of the teaching office, actively participates in the continuous improvement of processes, and provides quality support to students, teachers and internal and external partners.
Your Profile
• Commercial employee CFC or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years professional experience
• Organisational and planning skills, rigour, precision, respect for deadlines, standards and procedures
• Very good team spirit and mutual support, availability, flexibility
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of common IT tools
• Mastery of French (spoken and written) with excellent writing skills
• Knowledge of secretarial work in an academic environment would be a plus
