The Cantonal School Glarus comprises a long-term grammar school, a specialised middle school, as well as a sports school at the lower secondary level with a total of around 480 pupils.

We are looking for a

Caretaker at the Cantonal School 70–80 %

from 1 September 2026 or by arrangement, based in Glarus.

Tasks

• Carrying out general caretaking duties
• Responsibility for outdoor and garden work
• Building and furniture maintenance and performing simple repairs
• Technical support for public events in the auditorium

Requirements

• Completed vocational training with proven professional experience
• Practical experience in caretaking, ideally in a school environment
• Enjoyment of varied work in a lively setting
• Independent, reliable working style and quick comprehension
• Initiative and flexibility
• Team spirit and service orientation
• Clear communication and good manners
