Your area of responsibility
- You are a purchasing expert for Swiss Life Switzerland and part of a powerful team of five strategic purchasers
- You take responsibility for all product categories, from professional services to marketing, facilities, and IT - from software to outsourcing to complex service contracts
- You lead the entire procurement process: from needs analysis to tendering to contract signing
- You guide the departments through the process and are the first point of contact for all contractual questions, escalations, and clarifications
- You develop, analyze, and review contracts and bring them to signature readiness together with our legal and compliance departments
- Additionally, you identify cost optimization potential and initiate targeted purchasing initiatives
Your strengths
- You have a vocational or university degree or training as a federal certified purchasing manager and have many years of experience in strategic purchasing
- Knowledge in IT-related product groups such as software, services, outsourcing, and SaaS contracts is an advantage
- You are ready to independently manage purchasing initiatives from A to Z and possess strong skills in project and process management from sourcing initiatives to independent contract creation
- You bring experience in systematic supplier management and know how important stable supplier relationships and their continuous improvement are
- Entrepreneurial thinking, strong communication skills, and enjoyment of relationship management with diverse stakeholders, as well as pronounced negotiation skills, characterize you
- Your team spirit and high standards for your own work quality distinguish you - you navigate skillfully within various subject areas and communicate confidently in German and English
