The Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Mobility (DIEM) covers the areas of energy, hydropower, natural hazards, public transport, civil engineering, procurement, forest as well as hunting, large predators and fisheries. It is divided into five offices as well as the department secretariat, which, as a central staff unit, comprehensively supports the head of the department in the professional and political management of the department.
The department secretariat provides its services in the new administrative centre "sinergia" directly next to Chur West station in a modern, open and digitally oriented working environment. There is also the possibility to work partially from home.
We are looking for a lawyer for the DIEM department secretariat from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement .
- Legal support of the matters assigned to the department with a focus on the topics of forest and protection against natural hazards
- Occasional support in the areas of hunting and fisheries as well as civil engineering
- Ensuring an orderly business process with the offices assigned for legal support
- Drafting motions, orders, contracts, reports and statements as well as drafts of messages, parliamentary initiatives and legal enactments in the assigned areas
- Handling complaints and drafting legal documents for the courts
- University degree in law, additional training an advantage
- Practical experience in a public administration environment desirable
- Ability to prepare complex matters ready for decision
- High self-motivation, initiative, resilience and ability to work in a team
- Good communication skills
- Flawless command of the German language is required
- Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage
