Lecturer in Subject Didactics Violin/Viola (max. 20%)

Your tasks:
In this position
- you provide instruction in subject didactics/methodology for violin and viola for students of the Master's program in instrumental/vocal music education at the Classical Institute,
- take on the associated examination duties,
- are responsible for the individual supervision of internships, and
- supervise the students' written work.
- Participation in projects and committees of the university completes your task profile.
Your profile:
We are looking for a committed personality for this position with
- a completed artistic-pedagogical degree in violin (Master in Music Education, teaching diploma, or an equivalent qualification in content and form),
- an additional qualification for viola, including active playing practice at a professional level on this instrument,
- your own artistic profile,
- a broad stylistic horizon,
- proven several years of teaching experience at various age and training levels for both instruments, experience in forms of group teaching, and ideally also teaching practice at the university level,
- specific subject didactic concepts and a pronounced ability to reflect on and analyze didactic actions,
- a strong ability to work in a team/openness to team teaching forms,
- interest in music pedagogical research questions.
