As Team Lead Software Engineering, you will shape the systems and data flows around our Product Data Management together with a cross-functional product team. In doing so, you combine leadership with technical contribution and actively influence architecture, collaboration, and team culture.
What to expect

- Shared responsibility for scalable solutions - from problem clarification through architecture and implementation to operation
- Active participation in refinements, whiteboard sessions, pair programming, and code reviews
- Pragmatic development of collaboration and working methods such as Scrum or Kanban
- Plenty of scope for shaping team culture, technical direction, and collaboration across team boundaries
- Short iterations, fast learning, data-informed decisions, and responsibility according to the principle "You build it, you own it"
- Pragmatic use of modern engineering and architectural principles such as Domain-Driven Design, Hexagonal Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, SOLID, Feature Flags, automated testing, and Dependency Injection
- Gradual development of complex and evolved systems with a clear focus on sustainable improvements
- An environment where psychological safety, situational leadership, feedback, and continuous learning are actively lived
What you bring
- Several years of leadership experience in cross-functional product teams, ideally in e-commerce or an environment with distributed systems
- A leadership understanding as a servant leader and experience in coaching employees, promoting personal responsibility, and establishing an open feedback culture
- Endurance and resilience in dealing with complex topics, legacy systems, and change processes
- The ability to provide orientation, confidence, and motivation even in challenging situations
- Experience in close collaboration with Product Managers and a strong understanding of user, product, and business needs
- Practical experience with agile working methods, CI/CD, frequent releases, and shared responsibility for development and operation
- Solid understanding of modern software architecture and engineering practices
- Enjoyment of pair programming, code reviews, joint solution development, and continuous learning
- Curiosity, team spirit, appreciative communication, and a good sense of humour
