Position Summary
As a Quality Engineer at Jet Aviation, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding the excellence of our operations. From auditing suppliers and facilities to investigating safety incidents and delivering impactful training, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to uphold the highest standards in quality, compliance, and workplace safety. Your mission
- Maintain quality and safety standards: Ensure ongoing compliance and improvement of existing products, services, and work environments.
- Conduct audits and inspections: Perform safety and compliance audits of suppliers, buildings, facilities, equipment, and tools in accordance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures: Create systems to evaluate and enhance the quality of products, materials, components, and operations across assigned sites.
- Support ISBAH and customer audits: Assist in internal and external audits and ensure proper follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate incidents and recommend improvements: Analyze occurrences, accidents, and incidents to identify root causes and propose solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Manage internal occurrence reporting: Oversee the reporting system for safety-related events and maintain proper documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations: Stay current on aviation safety regulations, SMS requirements, and ensure all procedures align with Jet Aviation and General Dynamics policies.
- Monitor and deliver safety training: Identify local training needs, provide safety coaching, and ensure all staff are trained in accordance with applicable standards, including airport regulations.
- Maintain accurate training records: Track and document training to demonstrate compliance and readiness.
- Perform local audits: Execute audits according to the local audit plan to assess quality and compliance on-site.

Your profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality or safety-related role.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, processes, and safety regulations.
- Understanding of business aviation operations and regional regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage shifting priorities.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with fluency in English and German.
- Comfortable delivering training and leading safety initiatives.
- Willingness to travel up to 10 percent within Europe mostly.
