Technical Office | 80-100 % | Samedan
The Technical Office is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance and operation of cantonal roads, as well as hydraulic structures and slow mobility in Graubünden. In addition, we take care of the operational maintenance of national roads within the canton. The cantonal road infrastructure includes over 1450 structures, including bridges up to 90 metres high and tunnels up to 3 kilometres long. The challenges that the nature of our mountain canton conceals in summer and winter make our work demanding and varied. As a certified office with the Friendly Work Space label, the health and satisfaction of our approximately 480 employees are particularly important to us. For this reason, we are committed to systematic health management in the company (GSA).

Tasks
- Collaboration in the management and supervision of assigned construction sites as the client representative
- Determination of deadlines and coordination of work
- Ensuring quality, measurement activities and execution of all contractually agreed works
- Preparation of estimates, tender documents and calculations
- Monitoring the budget
- Carrying out technical tasks for road maintenance
- On-call service as intervention leader
What we expect from you
- Completed professional apprenticeship in construction
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in civil engineering
- Willingness, as a professional from another sector, to attend the necessary professional training to perform site management tasks
- Willingness to learn and ability to assert oneself
- High social skills, organisational abilities and negotiation skills as well as teamwork capability
- The working language is generally German; good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage
