About the job
The Nathalie Foundation is committed with heart, expertise, and great dedication to the loving care of children and adolescents. In our facility, we support around 20 children who rely on reliable, empathetic, and structured care – even in the early morning hours.
We are looking for a Night Watch Assistant for the boarding school in Gümligen immediately or by arrangement.
Working hours 04:00 to 07:45
To strengthen our night watch team, we are looking for a reliable and responsible person to support our night watch staff. Night care is always carried out in pairs with us. Together, the two night watch staff care for around 20 children and ensure safety, security, and a calm start to the day.
Tasks:
- Support the two night watch staff in the early morning hours
- Care and accompaniment of children who get up early
- Empathetic and age-appropriate accompaniment into the day
- Support with the morning routine (dressing, personal hygiene, breakfast preparation)
- Conducting control rounds
- Documentation according to internal guidelines
- Ensuring a calm, safe, and appreciative atmosphere
Our requirements for you:
- Experience in care or nursing is an advantage
- Training as AGS, nursing assistant, or SRK nursing helper is desirable
- Enjoy working with children
- Responsible, independent, and reliable working style
- High social competence, patience, and empathy
- Resilience and enjoyment of working in the early morning hours
- Good German skills in spoken and written form
