Construction Manager for Industrial Construction Projects 100% (m/f/d)
The Galvaswiss Group operates the largest hot-dip galvanizing plants, painting works, and powder coatings in Switzerland, as well as a location in southern Germany. For our industrial and construction projects within the group, we are looking for a dynamic TS/HF technician or HTL/FH engineer to accompany and coordinate project activities. This position is ideally suited for practically minded and technically skilled applicants who enjoy skillfully and efficiently implementing industrial production processes and technical requirements. The optimization of our infrastructure and industrial facilities is always a priority. In the execution of individual projects, you will work closely with the respective site managers and will be supported by experienced colleagues from the group, depending on the focus of the project. Primarily, you would be active in a planned major project at the Pratteln site (BL), and as needed or agreed, also at or for other locations.
What to expect from us:
- Development, renovation, and new construction projects within our group on existing buildings and facilities
- Project and construction management including tenders (cost estimation)
- Accompanying and monitoring construction work on site
- Coordination and assumption of all activities related to construction administration, especially organizing deliveries as well as scheduling and ensuring compliance with deadlines
What you bring:
- Completed training in the construction industry or in metal, machinery, and plant engineering (ideally construction management school, university of applied sciences, HTL/FH, or technician TS/HF, etc.)
- Affinity for industrial and plant construction and interest in our craft
- Organizational talent and cost awareness
- Detail-oriented and solution-focused approach
- Solid CAD skills and proficient use of all MS Office applications
- Good language skills in German, both spoken and written; other languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel for projects in Switzerland and partially in Germany
