Project Manager: Plastics Engineering (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you will lead demanding projects in plastics engineering and ensure that high-quality solutions for sophisticated industrial applications are created. You are responsible for the development and implementation of plastic components and systems used in sensitive processes with high-quality requirements. You coordinate interdisciplinary interfaces, make technical decisions, and ensure that all project goals regarding quality, costs, and deadlines are met. Additionally, you analyse and optimise existing processes to realise innovative, durable, and precise plastic products. Through your expertise in plastics engineering, you significantly contribute to securing modern applications in areas such as process, control, and regulation technology at the highest level.
Responsibilities:
Leading projects in the field of plastics engineering from the concept phase to series production
Responsibility for project planning, costs, deadlines, and quality
Development and optimisation of plastic components and manufacturing processes
Coordination of customers, development, production, and external suppliers
Support for tool procurement, sampling, and product launches
Conducting project controlling, risk, and change management
Ensuring compliance with quality standards and technical specifications
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a plastics engineer FH, mechanical engineer FH or technician HF plastics engineering
Professional experience in project management and plastics engineering
Knowledge of injection moulding, tool technology, and plastics processing
Experience with CAD systems and common quality methods is an advantage
Very good German language skills
