Your area of responsibility
The strategic procurement is responsible for the holistic management and further development of the assigned product groups within the Griesser brand across all locations in Switzerland, France, and Austria. The goal is to secure and expand the company's competitiveness in the long term through the development and implementation of sustainable, innovative, and economically optimal procurement strategies.
- Assumption of overall strategic responsibility for defined product groups at all Griesser locations (Switzerland, France, Austria)
- Development, implementation, and continuous further development of targeted product group strategies in line with the overarching procurement and corporate strategy
- Derivation of concrete procurement strategies based on sound market, demand, and supplier analyses
- Independent preparation, execution, and conclusion of contract and price negotiations with strategic suppliers (including quality, conditions, delivery modalities)
- Strategic establishment, maintenance, and further development of supplier relationships based on performance, innovation capability, supply security, and cost structure
- Initiation and management of cross-location optimization and efficiency projects in the procurement area

What you bring
- Completed technical or commercial basic training with subsequent procurement-specific or business management further education (e.g., degree, federal diploma, or comparable qualification)
- At least three years of professional experience in procurement/purchasing/SCM, ideally in the strategic area or product group management of an industrial environment
- Strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking ability, and entrepreneurial action
- Technical understanding of manufacturing & process technologies is an advantage
- Responsible, reliable, and team-oriented personality with strong self-motivation and high self-discipline
- Practical working style (“hands-on mentality”) combined with implementation strength, continuous willingness to learn, and a high degree of personal responsibility and initiative
- Proficient in MS Office applications and good knowledge of modern procurement and ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as English skills (at least B1) required; French skills are desirable
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe
- Driver's license category B
