Pre-internship à 900 hours limited to 6 months
Bülach – a city with tradition since 1384. Today the prosperous and growing center of the Zurich lowlands with around 24,500 inhabitants. It maintains an administrative culture in which customer orientation and appreciation of employees are central. The Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB) Bülach North is responsible for 16 municipalities with approx. 70,000 inhabitants. To complement our team, we are looking for a 1 September 2026
Your tasks
The internship offers you an insight into the tasks and working methods of a Child and Adult Protection Authority. This includes:
- Contacts with the affected persons, party representatives, specialist offices and third parties
- Clarification of facts in child and adult protection
- Obtaining reports and expert opinions as well as file management
- Preparation and recording of hearings
- Drafting decisions for the authority
Your profile
- Enrollment in Social Work BSc studies at a Swiss University of Applied Sciences
- Preferably have knowledge of child and adult protection law or have attended corresponding modules during your studies
- Interest in the work of a Child and Adult Protection Authority and competence in dealing with people in difficult life situations
- Team-oriented and resilient personality
- Fluent in oral and written expression and good communication skills
