Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals and ranks among the best hospital institutions in the world according to the Newsweek 2025 ranking. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in care, research, and education.
Within the Hotel Service (DLOH) and the cleaning hygiene service, you contribute to the comfort and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors: reception, events, accommodations, laundry and cloakrooms, supplies, cleaning, and decoration of spaces. You work closely with Care Units and reception areas, with possible internships at the Patient Hotel to broaden your skills.
Mission
- You provide hotel services for the reception, comfort, and well-being of the CHUV
- You record reservations for events and congresses, prepare rooms (banquets, snacks), and ensure service on the day
- You prepare the necessary materials for meals (tables, dishes, glasses) and provide service in the restaurant and reception lounge
- You receive, manage, and assign accommodations (staff, companions), handle arrivals/departures, and process requests/complaints
- You ensure the supply of laundry and professional clothing, and manage the cloakroom
- You receive, check, and store goods (food, cleaning products), keep inventory, and ensure restocking
- You collaborate on seasonal and floral decoration of public areas and the reception lounge
- You apply HACCP hygiene standards and safety rules, maintaining clean and welcoming spaces.
Profile
- You have completed your compulsory schooling
- You want to invest yourself in a service and reception profession
- You demonstrate autonomy and curiosity, with an aptitude for teamwork
- You are neat in your appearance and flexible for irregular or weekend hours.
