The Hôtel de la Cigogne 5* has 49 rooms, junior suites and suites, each decorated in a different style. This charming house features a traditional restaurant, a bar, and a magnificent lounge for meetings, cocktails, lunches and dinners accommodating up to 40 people.
Job Description
AS PART OF A 6-MONTH REPLACEMENT STARTING 1ST SEPTEMBER 2026, AS A FLOOR SUPERVISOR you will:
- Assign rooms and organise daily schedules for the teams;
- Support and assist colleagues in their tasks;
- Prepare and ensure follow-up of VIP welcomes;
- Maintain good customer relations and foster loyalty;
- Manage lost and found items;
- Ensure access areas (supplier entrance, staff corridors…) are accessible;
- Inspect each room daily;
- Check cleanliness and order of service areas;
- Inspect the condition of furniture and bedding;
- Report and follow up on maintenance requests;
- Inspect public areas and staff common areas;
- Ensure smooth operation of laundry service;
- Communicate with receptions;
- Manage staff telephones;
- Manage floral orders;
- Handle equipment requests with the purchasing manager (welcome products, cleaning products, equipment…);
- Coordinate with the pastry kitchen for confectionery;
- Conduct inventory twice a year;
Qualifications
- Education level: Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- Work experience: At least 1 year of work experience.
- Supervisory experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
