Within our "Environment and Waste Management" unit, we are looking for a team member based in Geneva, for a:
Senior Project Manager WtE - Waste Recovery (rate between 80 and 100%)
In this role, you will join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team that embodies the core values of our company: solidarity, passion for complex and large-scale projects, spirit of innovation, and friendliness.
YOUR NEW ROLE:
In close collaboration with members of the Business Unit, you will work on comprehensive project management missions, including both design phases and execution monitoring of works, in the field of waste treatment and recovery. You will contribute to projects led by both public and private clients. Your main tasks are:
- Managing complex construction or rehabilitation projects of waste treatment units, from the study phase to commissioning
- Ensuring overall project management, including assistance to the client and public authorities
- Supervising and coordinating actions carried out by WSP within the control and coordination unit of a temporary joint venture
- Designing and monitoring the overall project schedule in coordination with the planner
- Ensuring compliance with budgets and deadlines
- Establishing workload and staffing forecasts, in agreement with the Group Leader
- Coordinating technical and contractual interfaces between the different project stakeholders
COULD THIS BE YOU?
- Engineering degree (generalist focus, environmental engineering, energy, or civil)
- Minimum 8 years of experience managing large-scale projects related to waste treatment units (incineration, methanization)
- Mastery of the technical, organizational, and strategic aspects of project management
- Comfortable with client assistance, project management, and supporting public stakeholders
- Proven experience in site supervision
- Excellent communicator, able to build lasting relationships with partners and clients
- Ability to defend your technical choices, coordinate stakeholders, and unite around projects
- Rigor, organizational skills, autonomy, and initiative
- Dynamic and eager to progress, with a global vision of challenges
- Strong goal and results orientation to successfully complete assigned projects
