The Directorate of Digital Transformation and Augmented Intelligence (DTN-AI) leads the digital transformation of the institution, in a context of enhanced data-driven management of hospital processes. It creates, integrates, and manages all the IT applications of one of the most efficient hospital information systems to support the clinical and logistical activities of the Geneva University Hospitals. With a fleet of more than 13,500 workstations, 1,300 servers for over 250 applications serving all staff, available 24/7, the DTN-AI manages an HR information system for the 13,000 employees of the HUG and the 7 other Geneva institutions.
In this context, the DTN-AI creates an integrated patient record at the forefront of the sector and contributes to the HUG's reputation thanks to recognised functional richness and close collaborations with all healthcare professionals and their transversal management. Furthermore, the DTN-AI integrates cutting-edge and everyday biomedical equipment as well as specialised applications for all medico-technical platforms.
The mission of the DTN-AI is to support daily activities and build the future of a modern and efficient hospital, data-driven, in accordance with the institution's strategy, relying on best practices and the most demanding standards.
Job description
Within the Information Systems Directorate of the HUG, your mission is to ensure the security of the HUG's information systems by guaranteeing the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of informational assets.
In a complex and critical environment, you define, lead, and develop the information systems security strategy in line with the institutional strategy, business risks, and regulatory requirements of the healthcare sector.
You coordinate all governance, compliance, risk prevention, and security incident management actions. In this capacity, you supervise the risk mapping associated with informational assets, ensure the implementation and monitoring of the Information Systems Security Management System, lead audits, and support IT projects to integrate security requirements from their design. You also develop awareness and training actions for employees, and ensure active technological and regulatory monitoring.
You act as a cybersecurity expert reference within the DTN-AI and the institution, chair the corresponding internal committee, and represent the IT security function to the institution's governance bodies (Committee, Board Committee, Board of Directors), external partners, and competent authorities.
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent diploma, in cybersecurity or a related field. Holding CISSP and CISM certifications, you have proven experience in information systems security, ideally in a critical or highly regulated environment. Experience in the technical management of IT infrastructures is desirable to facilitate collaboration with operational teams.
You have a thorough command of current frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, risk management, and data protection. You are capable of operating in a complex and cross-functional environment, demonstrating leadership, communication skills, and the ability to unite teams.
Your profile combines technical expertise, leadership, and interpersonal skills, making you a key player to meet the strategic and operational challenges of the role.
