Job summary
Join our care home dedicated to dementia and palliative care. We offer a supportive environment for volunteers to enhance residents' lives.
Tasks
- Provide companionship and support to elderly and ill residents.
- Assist with activities, appointments, and outings for residents.
- Help with meal service and room arrangements for comfort.
Skills
- Commit to volunteering 4-6 hours weekly; B2 German skills required.
- Open, reliable, and discreet with a sense of humor.
- Able to handle stress and maintain good interpersonal skills.

We are a nursing home engaged in dementia care as well as palliative care in primary care for 84 people aged 18 and over.
Do you enjoy contact with sick and elderly people? Would you like to give residents time and contribute to their integration and quality of life through your voluntary commitment free of charge?

- Visiting service/accompaniment
- Care in palliative situations and at the end of life
- Accompanying residents during activities, appointments, and excursions
- Assisting with meal service in the department (breakfast, lunch, or dinner)
- Helping to set up and decorate residents' rooms

- Animal care
Your profile
- You want to commit regularly, about 4 – 6 hours per week
- You are open, reliable, discreet, and humorous
- You are mentally resilient and able to set boundaries
- You have good manners and a neat appearance
- You have German language skills (level B2) and understand the Swiss German language
