FernUni Switzerland represents fully online university degree programmes and is accredited according to HFKG. It combines a flexible, location-independent part-time distance learning programme with an active, interdisciplinary research culture at the Brig campus. FernUni Switzerland is seeking a Sustainability Officer. The position is organisationally assigned to the Rectorate staff. The Sustainability Officer leads or coordinates institutional activities in various areas of sustainability. The focus is on social sustainability (in particular equal opportunities, diversity, inclusion and accessibility – EDIA) including economic and ecological sustainability. The Sustainability Officer plays a central role in the development and implementation of institutional strategies, supporting students and staff, as well as strengthening FernUni Switzerland’s commitment in national and international networks of social, economic and ecological sustainability.
