Responsibilities
As part of the development of its activities, our client is looking for a Mechanical Workshop Manager (m/f). You will ensure the operational management of a mechanical sector and the supervision of technical teams to guarantee the achievement of production objectives.
Your main responsibilities:
- Organise, coordinate, and supervise the daily activities of the workshop.
- Manage, support, and develop the skills of a team of technicians and operators.
- Ensure the achievement of production objectives in terms of quality, costs, and deadlines.
- Plan resources according to the workload.
- Monitor performance indicators and implement necessary actions to improve them.
- Participate in resolving technical issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Identify training, equipment, and resource needs to support business growth.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at optimising flows, productivity, and quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety and occupational health rules and the proper functioning of equipment.
Candidate Profile
You have the following profile:
- Training as a polymechanic or similar
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial environment in a similar position
- You have initial experience in team management
- You love being on the ground and close to production
- You are a unifier, with good communication and organisational skills.
- You have good skills in IT tools including ERP, Excel
