Your main tasks: Job description
- Welcome, inform, guide and support people facing social or financial difficulties.
- Facilitate access to communal, cantonal and regional social aid and benefits.
- Identify the needs of seniors and develop actions to support their remaining at home, social connection and prevention of isolation.
- Organise and coordinate prevention, information and awareness-raising actions among the population.
- Ensure the social and administrative follow-up of emergency housing beneficiaries.
- Participate in eviction prevention and coordinate interventions with partners (Justice of the Peace, property managers, owners, social services and institutions).
- Design, lead and evaluate projects related to communal social policy.
- Develop and maintain a network of partners and facilitate working groups or coordination meetings.
Your background:
- Bachelor of Science in Social Work or equivalent training.
- Proven experience in the social field, ideally with vulnerable groups.
- Experience in project management and network facilitation.
- Additional training in social policy, project management or mediation: an asset.
- Trainer practitioner training: an asset.
Your skills:
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
- Good writing skills and administrative ease.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Good knowledge of the Vaud socio-institutional network and issues related to precariousness, ageing and housing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and listening ability.
- Analytical mind, organisational skills and ability to manage complex situations.
- Ability to work in a network, to unite partners and to handle several files simultaneously.
- Autonomy, discretion, collaborative spirit and sense of public service.
Start date: immediately or to be agreed.
