Planning Specialist 80 - 100%

In this responsible role, you will adjust the vehicle circulation planning and the duty rosters of our locomotive staff for construction sites and events. In addition, you will provide occasional support for short-term planning.

• You implement concepts in the area of construction sites and events within the control department.
• You identify deviations from the annual timetable and adjust the vehicle circulations and duty rosters of the locomotive staff accordingly.
• You coordinate with infrastructure operators regarding the stabling of vehicles.
• You are responsible for the efficient deployment of locomotive staff and rolling stock in the event of deviations from the annual timetable during the year.

• You have completed vocational training in public transport or in dispatching.
• You bring several years of professional experience in planning or dispatching in public transport.
• You have a high degree of independence and a structured as well as precise way of working.
• You possess a strong safety awareness, a quick grasp of matters, and the ability to prioritise.
• You have a high affinity for IT and an interest in new systems.
• You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
