The Justice of the Peace is the Authority for the protection of children and adults. As such, it acts upon request or ex officio. At the end of the investigation, a decision is made whether or not to establish a protection measure. The Justice of the Peace also has jurisdiction in inheritance matters and in the area of bans.

Your tasks
- Management of inheritance files and preparation of tax inventories upon death
- Processing and issuing of birth certificates outside marriage and certificates of civil capacity
- Maintaining the Judge’s secretariat (diary, physical and electronic files)
- General correspondence (letters, summons, notifications)
- Telephone and counter reception
- Liquidation and archiving of files
- Various other administrative tasks related to the smooth running of the authority
Desired profile
- Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or equivalent training
- Several years of professional experience, experience within a judicial authority is an asset
- Flexibility, autonomy, sense of responsibility, stress resistance and discretion
- Ease in contact and teamwork
- Interest in inheritance matters
- Good knowledge of common IT tools, Tribuna V3 programme and SAP an asset
- Excellent command of French with knowledge of German
