Your tasks
- Creating strength calculations for pressure vessels and other components according to DGRL, AD2000, EN 13445, and ASME
- Modeling and performing FEM analyses in Ansys and SolidWorks
- Calculation and dimensioning of components considering relevant standards and guidelines
- Design of mechanical components and assemblies in 3D-CAD
- Preparation of production drawings and manufacturing documents for internal and external production
- Handling customer projects in the field of Mechanical Engineering
- Application of standards and guidelines within the scope of professional activities
- Maintaining documentation in the PDM and ERP systems
- Training and supporting team members
- Supporting and advising employees from other teams
- Taking on additional tasks assigned by the supervisor
Your profile
- Completed engineering degree (university / university of applied sciences)
- High technical expertise in Mechanical Engineering
- Several years of experience in calculating and dimensioning pressure vessels and other components according to DGRL, AD2000, EN 13445, and ASME
- Experience in performing FEM modeling
- Proven design experience
- Confident handling of standards and guidelines
- Solid user knowledge in 3D-CAD, FEM, PDM, and ERP systems (preferably SolidWorks, ECTR, and SAP)
- Efficient and precise working style
- Team player
- Very good German and English skills
