What you can achieve
- Leadership, organisation and further development of the Corporate Security Governance team and ensuring efficient service delivery
- Representation of the Chief Security Officer in the development, management and monitoring of the group-wide Corporate Security Management System as well as ensuring effective governance in the areas of safety, security, environment, sustainability, emergency and crisis management, and business continuity management
- Defining and governing all integral security requirements for the RUAG MRO Holding AG group in the area of security, such as the development, maintenance and further development of policies, standards and requirements including supporting documents in the areas of physical security, operational security, emergency and crisis management, and business continuity management
- Ensuring an effective control system (2nd Line of Defence) through audits, assessments, risk and vulnerability analyses as well as follow-up of measures
- Monitoring compliance with legal, regulatory, normative and internal requirements in subsidiaries as well as assessing security risks, threats and vulnerabilities
- Professional leadership, coordination and management of the Corporate Security Experts and ensuring a coordinated approach between the specialist departments
- Professional advice to operational business units and subsidiaries as well as preparation of reports and decision-making bases for the Chief Security Officer, executive management, board of directors and specialist committees
- Leading and supporting improvement and development projects as well as conducting training, awareness measures and management briefings
- Managing collaboration with internal and external stakeholders such as authorities, auditors, customers and control bodies and supporting business units during external audits and customer reviews
What you bring with you
- University degree (FH/Uni) in security or risk management, military or police sciences, engineering, business administration or a comparable field
- Several years of professional and leadership experience (at least 5 years) in corporate security, security management or a comparable governance, risk or assurance function
- Sound knowledge in at least one of the specialist areas of security, crisis management, business continuity management or protection of critical infrastructures
- Very good knowledge in the areas of security management, risk assessment, auditing and governance as well as in the development, implementation and monitoring of policies, standards and control mechanisms
- Experience in leading change and improvement projects as well as in working with decentralised organisational units
- Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills as well as an analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Confident demeanour and experience in working with authorities, customers, auditors and other relevant stakeholders
- High integrity, initiative, sense of responsibility and assertiveness
- Very good German and good English skills, additional languages such as French or Italian are an advantage
