We ensure that everything runs smoothly at Barmelweid. As the Technology & Safety team, we get stuck in, think ahead, and support each other. Together, we ensure the safe operation of our medical technology and infrastructure. Expertise, team spirit, and a pragmatic hands-on mentality are what count.
What you will achieve with us
- You inspect, maintain and repair medical technology systems and devices and ensure compliance with legal requirements (Swissmedic, MepV) as well as manufacturer specifications.
- You ensure the supply of medical gases, oxygen, compressed air and vacuum.
- You work closely with internal specialist departments as well as external manufacturers and suppliers and coordinate the interfaces in day-to-day business and projects.
- You independently plan and coordinate maintenance in your area of responsibility.
- You carry out inspections, maintenance, repairs and optimisations on technical, medical technology and infrastructural systems.
- You document systems and work and maintain the data in our maintenance system Waveware.
- According to the duty roster, you take on day and weekly on-call duties, thereby contributing to ensuring our 24/7 operation.

Barmelweid is the leading specialist and rehabilitation clinic in Northwestern Switzerland and the largest psychosomatic clinic in Switzerland. The clinic cares for patients on an inpatient basis with 285 beds.
