Presentation
To complete its team, the Equality Office of the University of Lausanne is looking for a mission officer for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at 40 - 50%.
With expertise related to the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion, the mission officer contributes to the realisation and implementation of UNIL’s Action Plan for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. Equipped with strong planning and project management skills, as well as being proactive, they are notably responsible for designing, leading and coordinating projects and events as well as developing training and awareness projects, according to the needs and direction of the service.

Contract duration: Permanent contract
Work rate: 40 to 50%

Your Activities
In your activities, you will be expected to:
• Design, lead and coordinate projects and events related to the promotion of
equality, diversity and inclusion.
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of UNIL’s Action Plan for Equality, Diversity and
Inclusion in support of the Service Management.
• Develop and implement training and awareness projects related to the
promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion.
• Ensure scientific monitoring at the cantonal, federal and international levels, related to the
missions of the service.
Your Profile
To complete our team, we are looking for a person with the following profile:
• University degree in social sciences and politics, law,
public administration or gender studies.
• Experience and/or continuing education in project management.
• In-depth knowledge of the legal and institutional framework for the promotion of equality,
diversity and inclusion in institutional and university settings.
• Proven experience in topics of gender equality, prevention of
discrimination related to gender and sexual orientation, support for women’s careers, work-life balance and parenting as well as related to the Equality Act (LEg).
• Excellent project management skills with great autonomy in project execution.
• Excellent organisational, planning and anticipation skills, monitoring/control/compliance with
deadlines, availability, proactivity
• Teamwork skills, listening, good communication and interaction abilities
• Sense of responsibility and professional ethics
• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent command of French and good level of English
• Good command of common IT and office tools
